Ha! Rock biopics are the worst (except for Control... which I haven't actually seen all the way through, but I want to love it)
Ray was abismal. Cash invented shit for dramatic effect. It was better than Ray as a film, but despite having strong actors in both lead parts I've been like "fuck this noise" ever since. God help us when they decide to do an *actual* not-by-proxy film about Kurt Cobain. Or - Gasp! - David Bowie!!
Though Vincent Cassel would make an excellent late in life Bowie. Not eager to see ... I don't know .. Jared Leto or some fucktaint play the Duke in his early years.
