If you didn't make it to Rational Rec in 2006, turn over a new leaf with:

To kick-start 2007, Rational Rec presents the Rational Review, the annual Rational Rec event of the best film, talk and music from the previous year:

Rational Rec is a monthly inter-art social occasion based at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, incorporating sound, music, text, performance and film into a damn good night out. Come along and be artistically, intellectually and alcoholically stimulated

Witness the first public screening of Hector Castells' 40 min documentary following sculptor Graham Hudson during his residency at the Chelsea College of Art & Design's Parade Grounds (April to Sept 2006).
Graham Hudson is represented by Rokeby Gallery: www.rokebygallery.com

Nominate the cultural thing or event from 2006 you would most like to applaud, damn or question in the Rational Review Panel discussion
With special contributions from:
Jason E Bowman - artist, curator, arts consultant: www.midwest.org.uk
Ken Hollings – writer, broadcaster, lecturer: www.kenhollings.com
Gillian Moore – head of Contemporary Culture, South Bank Centre
Sally O'Reilly – art writer, critic and event organiser
Chaired by Cecilia Wee (Salon or Seminar, Resonance FM): www.ceciliawee.com

We want to know your favourite, most despised or most challenging art work, event or cultural thing of 2006. No media or content excluded. Even if you're unable to make it along on Tuesday 9th January, we'd still love to receive your nominations!

To take part in the debate, email cecilia@rationalrec.org.uk by Monday 8th January 2007 with nominations for:
1) your favourite cultural happening / object of 2006

3) the most puzzling cultural happening / object of 2006
