Well, it's interesting to see his side of the story. It does try to show that he wasn't exactly the hypnotic cult leader the media made him out to be, but he still accepts the blame for the Tate/LaBianca murders... it just shows them commiting those murders in an attempt to frame 'the blacks' for Hinman's murder by Beausoleil, instead of him having ordered the murders specifically to start a race war. Interesting to see his side of why theywere commited and, an insider's view of 'Family' life.
I'd say it's probably a good companion to Helter Skelter. It doesn't really add too many more 'facts,' but it puts a different spin on events and his life. The sex scenes were pretty rediculous though.

You have to wonder how much of it is true, though. Charlie Manson still doesn't seem like the most trustworthy guy on the planet.

And, I have to wonder what would've become of him, had he been a successful musician...
