I'll tell you what Mary Timony deserves: ROYALTIES FOR HAVING WRITTEN WHAT BECAME THE BASIS FOR AND BACKBONE OF SONIC YOUTH'S "SUNDAY". SY were always so respectful of their influences — why didn't they credit her with co-writing that song? If A Thousand Leaves is ever reissued (hopefully in deluxe edish), they should most certainly correct this omission — hell, even The Rolling Stones, who happen to have nicked a riff here and there (though not as much as Zep!) changed the songwriting credits to "Stop Breaking Down" from "traditional" to "Robert Johnson" on the 2010 reissue of Exile On Main St.

For those of you still in the dark about this: Helium - "Skeleton".

EDIT: Helium opened for Sonic Youth in '95, so coincidence, this is not.
