The Richey mythology was never the point for me, but his lyrics are truly extraordinary and a million times more striking than most writers you would be likely to read. James Dean Bradfields performances are also extraordinary, ill never know how he fitted those words around his songs.
I dunno about anyone else, but this was THE album when i was 15, i dont think ive ever heard anything thats so extroverted in its hostility.
