better to be paranoid... yeah i checked the demand progress site. "looks legit" (including domain registration).

the issue that raised my eyebrows first was the claim that congress was going to write legislation to overrule the fcc-- they won't pass it and it's not going to happen -- here's the news from 2 days ago:

“We’re not going to get a signed bill that doesn’t have Democrats’ support,” said Senator John Thune, Republican of South Dakota and chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee. “This is an issue that needs to have bipartisan support.”
