finished season 1 of true detective the other day. it'd been days already but i'm still… impressed. as i've said elsewhere, nightmare-inducing and very disturbing but also very well put together in every sense. better than going to the movies.

now watching season 2 of the (american) house of cards. so far it continues to be great. fans of david fincher should check it out-- he directed the first couple of episodes but "executive produces" (that's a very vague title so who knows how far his influence goes-- i think it's at least in the titles ha ha ha) the rest of the series.
