I sometimes check out the latest recommendations on noise-y rock, but that's mainly because I get periodic panic attacks about ending up enjoying Dido (who is, incidentally, 340.2% less shit than Weather Report). I listen to the noise-y rock, and I think 'well, it's ever-so-slightly less shit than Dido, so I don't own a Volvo/ German Shepherd yet'. But soon, oh yes...
