Ok i think i'm the only poster on this board from Stowmarket maybe even Suffolk but i'm spreading this around as many places as possible. Basically we need as many votes as possible to secure £50,000 to help the new John Peel Centre.

Please vote for us today - 0871 626 88 03 - you can call up to 10 times from any phone. Calls cost 10p from landlines and more from mobiles. Thank you!

"The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts is a project designed to address the needs of a local artist and audiences. The project will form partnerships with local service providers in order to provide the opportunity for a bespoke facility. The John peel Centre for Creative Arts goal is to ensure all forms of art are given an equality of service. This objective will be met by creating a purpose built community resource, which will serve all segments of the community. The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, education and community.
The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts is a project that is in direct response to the growing number of young people and adults who are unable to access positive artistic activities. The goal of the program is to identify residents who will foster their love of art and music. The focus is to empower residents to make positive changes in their life.
The project would refurbish the Stowmarket Corn Exchange building to create a bespoke community resource for the creative arts named after the late John Peel who lived locally."
