At the end of the song when Thurston yells "MILDRED PIERCE!...MIL-DRED-PIERCE" we skip ahead to Uma getting the adrenaline shot in her chest leaving us to think, WTF?...only to have Tarantino go back and fill in the story gap for us as to why she needed it. Thurston's last yelp when the song ends would be synchronized to the moment when Uma's eyes open again.
