HIPSHOT GUITARS - A three volume set compilation of various 21st Century guitar players. I wondered what all my guitar playing friends were doing and sent out a call for pieces for a possible compilation. The response was so good I ended up with 37 pieces - enough for a three cd set which covers almost every aspect of contemporary guitar.

Volume One - Hip 020 - Gary Butler, Thurston Moore, Ben Mandelson, Jack Rose, Lawrence English, Ezekiel Healy, Bruce Russell, Greg Malcome, Matt Valentine, Susan Alcorn, Joel Picard, David Toop.

Volume Two - Hip 021 - Hans Tammen, Elliott Sharp, Tim Catlin, Candlesnuffer (aka Dave Brown), Paolo Angeli, Marco Cappelli, Tom Carter, Fuji, Tetuzi Akiyama, Chris Forsyth, Phil Bird, Robin Schmidt, Jean Marc Montera, Erhard Hirt.

Volume Three - Hip 022 - Steffan Basho Junghans, Sharif Sehnaoui, Eli Queen, Keith Rowe, Oren Ambarchi, Manuel Mota, Elio Martusciello, Mike Cooper, David Keenan, Keenan Lawler, Dean Roberts.

Review - The WIRE said "...one cannot help but be overwhelmed by the consistently high quality of the submissions. Together the three volumes add up to a comprehensive sampler of the seemingly infinite possibilties offered by contemporary guitar music. The set's sincere celebration of musicianship and imagination is hard to dismiss, and even harder to find elsewhere."

Hipshot cds are only available from me (Mike Cooper) direct.

Prices:
Europe - 15 euro each or all three for 40 euro post paid.
UK - 10 pounds each or all three for 25 pounds post paid.
USA - 15$ each or all three for 40$ post paid (suggest registering mail orders from USA)
Australia/New Zealand - 20$ each or all three for 50$ post paid.

Payment:
Cheques drawn on a British bank made out to Mike Cooper / Cash inside a card in an envelope. US customers are advised to register letters. NO international money orders please and we don't have Pay Pal or any other means of payment - sorry.
