ive also always thought deep down he is more or less an ordinary guy, one who uses odd imagery to wordage to make himself seem much more interesting than he really is.
certainly seems like one of those that fabricates things a bit. i guess alot of people are like that though.

exactly. that's his genius is his changeability. no one would be talking about him if he had just kept on with his ziggy stardust thing forever. it's too novel to last forever.
