Had they been built even a mile or two away from their current location, the bedrock would not have been strong enough to carry the weight. By the way, we didn't discover this until satellite imaging technology revealed this.. How exactly did the Egyptians know it without science, something so damned advanced that even WE didn't know it until the 1990s??
