The movie may be shit. It's been probably 17 years since I last saw it. But the frying pan scene was funny.
The only frying-pan-to-the-head gag that I can think of that matches it is in Ed Wood, when Patricia Arquette chucks one at Johnny Depp while he's running away in full drag and high heels. She really conks him, and he's down for the count.
