Yeah, I know... But he still should have released Squeeze under his own name. Calling it a VU album was moronic.
He's responsible for tarnishing the discography of one of my favorite bands ever, so I'm no major supporter. But I do think he's contributed more to the band than he's been given credit for.
If Lou had done studio vocals for "Candy Says" the effect would have been totally different. I love Lou Reed, but that performance by Yule is iconic.
I'm not trying to argue with you, I just see the whole thing from two sides. That's all.
