Yes, the US version is god awful, hit-girl or no hit-girl. But the version above is one of my favorite movies ever, irrespective of genre.
And I actually thought the US ...Dragon tattoo was fairly good, if pointless. I am just kind of a sucker for Daniel Craig, and seem to have a thing for David Fincher as well. That's just me though.
