radiohead wanted a different approach to their music for In Rainbows, an approach that it is not what i like from them. (because kid a, httt, and amnesiac is what i like from them)

same with sonic youth, they knew what they wanted for RR, otherwise they wouldnt have released it. maybe it was like a bunch of pop summer songs to say goodbye to the label or whatever it was... thing is, 'that' approach to music its not what i like from them. (noise, experimentation, improvisation,etc its what i like from them)

still i rate in rainbows and rather ripped as good albums.
