truth can do that.

korn and deftones are overrated in a comical blown out of proportion by enthusiastic kids kina way, so it doesn't bother anybody. while pavement and guided get treated with such serious pompous indie reverence people want to deflate it a bit.

korn and deftones are underrated in the sense that a lot of people would be embarrassed to admit to ever liking them and they are seen as something you are supposed to grow out of, but then you realise what you are supposed to grow into is pavement...

myself and a few others here have been rediscovering korn lately, in my case after forgetting about them for years, and there's actually a lot there. noone has really come close to going down the avenues they explored since.

but pavement. we smoke weed and wear sensible jumpers and are bored = maturity and seriousness? nope.
