And if it makes you feel better, while I think he makes some good points now and then, I very, very rarely make it all the way through his vids. At least, not without speeding them up to get them over with sooner. You seem to envy his fame, not his "talent."

I don’t envy his fame. I’d rather be a print journalist with a plaque or two and no name recognition than a YouTube star. I envy his getting paid to talk about music.
I also rarely make it through a whole video. Not sure I ever actually have. Some of them are really long, and they’re just closeups of his face. Blech.
I wish my job was specific to music, and that I could work at my own pace.
