so, i hadn't had time to post this before but i had tickets for last friday's joanna newsom's show in albuquerque. no, im not CRAZY about her, but so little happens around here i was excited-- i drove for hours to be there & booked a hotel room, and showed up at the designated location only to find a "show cancelled due to illness" sign on the door.

unless she was truly in bad shape, bitch owes me a hotel room, and some serious mileage.

anyone got news of her upcoming demise? is she near death's door? i'll send her flowers if that's the case. otherwise, she'll hear from my lawyers.
