Just found Heddy Boubaker on soundcloud. I'm really enjoying it. It's legions away from free jazz, ostensibly, but I think it illustrates well quite how far we've come from free jazz in the last 40 years or so. Terrible songnames, but the work on Proletarian Revolution is pretty amazing - there's some lovely melodies buried in there.
