Going back to February, believe we've had two different days where it rained for a few hours each day......the last day being about two weeks ago when it rained for about two hours. We are 16" behind in our rainfall and suffering extreme drought conditions. Weatherman says if it doesn't rain in the next week or so, we very well may not see rain again until after summer......unless a tropical system - depression / hurricane brings some precipitation our way - - - strange indeed, but I'm afraid becoming the new normal!
Things are getting serious in my area too as we'll probably suffer a drought worse than the record year of 1976.
