I mostly agree. But, a couple of things come to mind. One is that there are still an awful lot of great movies being made in other countries besides the US. I know the big $ is being spent on filmmaking here, but still, there's some awfully good stuff out there, much more than in the past. And, regarding TV, there's a lot of abysmal crap on besides the few genuinely good things.
