Purely out of curiosity, I'm trying to catch up with the tonnes of Hollywood superhero adaptations that've come out in the last few years. I've not seen many at all (I still haven't seen a single Batman or Spiderman film) but I just caught this on TV and liked it a lot more than I expected, at least until the full-on action took over, when it just turned into Transformers.

Any recommendations of recent superhero movies would be really welcome. There's very little chance I'll have seen any you mention and, as I said, I'm just curious to see more.

iron man was pretty badass! and funny.
