I will check it out but their last few have really gotten away from me. I saw them during the "..Lemons" era and thought hey! New Sonic Youth?

Then I saw them a couple years after that and though "nope, but I'm glad I saw them and got into them. Btw: is Deerhoof like the new this?"

They weren't. Turns out I totally missed hearing their first albums in proper historical context. I don't think I'll ever see them as their own band, which is a shame. I may check this out but it's not on my to-do list or anything.
