just in time to kick off the summer season, watched in a very quick way (only 3h total?) the whole of season 3 of RED OAKS.

it was only 6 episodes and it was the last season. not 10 episodes like before. damn, i’m gonna miss this show.

still highly recommended for a bit of 80s-throwback summer fun. srsly you’ll want a lemonade or a gin rickey next to you. even though it’s not supertropical or anything.

yes yes it’s a comedy and it’s well done. david gordon green and sodherberg at the helm, great directors on every episode and good writing/characters for most of its run.

if you don’t mind a bit of spoiler (it’s not a suspense thing after all) here a critical appreciation

^^ most of what they say is true, yeah. good soundtrack, directors, more than this, etc.
