Well, that's part of the reason why I tried to keep my expectations to a minimum for this one. I understand why people would hope for something like that, but at this point it's really not what I'm trying to find on Radiohead. Kinda like my experience with Sonic Youth and The Eternal... King of Limbs may or may not mean that their "golden days" have passed, but as long as I'm enjoying it, there's no problem with that.
