i haven't really dived into usbm, i might sometime soon.
porky: i'm listening to gamelan right now.
about the current death metal thing: right now bands are coming out with great stuff, especially the older bands like, say, cannibal corpse, whose last two albums are magnificient and i like even better than the older ones (although i must say i'm rediscovering butchered at birth), behemoth released demigod last year and it's a fantastic album, my current favorite dm band is cryptopsy, they play straight up dm but with an intensiry few can match. i need to check out the new suffocation album, i also need to check newer band.
