The critics have totally panned this but I do really like it. It's not as good as Confessions of a Dancefloor (my fave of her albums) but it's quite similar in feel and far better than Hard Candy. There are some really bad songs on it but no more and no worse than there are on all of her albums (even Confessions) and there's some real gold here too. Girls Gone Wild is an early contender for my single of the year. Possibly my favourite Madonna album cover, too. Good stuff. |
I'm curious about this. Madonna usually has at least one incredible song per album, even at her worst.
