I 'm in a similar situation, but it's not that much of a problem for me. I'm quite a loner and I've been used to it for while. I have gone tried to socialise with other people, but serioulsy British ppl suck horribly - boring and stupid, even the so called hipster and indie chicks are no better than your average pill-popping club slut. But, seriously most relationships at this age (I'm presuming you're in your early twenties) are not that serious anyway and most people definetely can't even fathom an idea of serious commitment. I say concentrate on whatever it is you're doing - music, school, religion, etc. and get back into the 'social world' a couple of years later when everyone is not an egotistical shallow retards.
