now i was thinking about that turtle ............................
if the magneticfield of the earth changes
can this turtle still navigate or will it be disorientated?
or can it use something else to navigate?
to analyse these questions
-you have to know if there a cycles in magnetisme
for example: that 25 years the magneticfield pionts to northpole and then for 25 years this pionts to the southpole, and this in those cycles
then the turle would have (during X- years evolution) it's navigation systems adapted for that 25 year cycle of magnetic change
the turle has no problem with the magnetic field change
or it can navigate on something else
this also made me think............
of the satellite that is or is going to be in orbit for the measurments of magnetic fields
and other satellites to follow a hurricane like irene
makes technology usefull to survive
in a sort of climate change created by wrong use of technology
so you can start a discussion about that and how the species that have made those technology are using it and what the effect is on the specie
for example: einstein E=mc˛
he gets recognition, a golden medal in the sience kinda way
then the a-bom is there
then someone makes a nucliar reactor, gets a golden medal
a proud nation, proud to be modern ect.
chernobil explodes, people who have nothing to do with the nucliar plant have to sacrifice themselfs to clean the mess
today it's still not clean
not to speak about other nucliar bom testing zones
when things go wrong the specie doesn't take responsibility
the specie likes to have a golden medal and continue these modernizations
without looking at the selfdestruction this causes for future generations
modernization selfdestruction by intelligence?
or does the sapian need to adapt it's modernization in function of future generations?
ofcourse it has to
the future generations still needs clean water, air and food
as other land animals
so a specie clims out of the trees and starts to walk
it develops some tools and during X time it can do alot with those tools
if the specie makes questions and thoughts inside it's brain
this doesn't mean that the specie has changed the reality of the universe
everthing is still the same as the specie lived in the trees
because a specie makes a tool it doesn't mean it changes reality of things or objects
i make a tool (spaceship) > fly to mars > come back to earth
a tree is still a tree
a horse is still a horse
water is still water
nothing in the universe is changed
people can philosophize about things till the end of it's short life
