Sure, and if you listen to a band playing live on a tv show, and your tv has broken speakers it's clearly the band's fault if you hear nothing.
And every recording is perfect and there's no chance someone will screw up the audio of a band playing on stage. It's impossible.

p.s. I already said they probably are shit anyway live, it's just not a good reason to dismiss a band music altogether, coz recorded output can differ vastly from the lvie rendition of the tracks...
