Now, this band really fucking excites me. "DECONSTRUCTIONIST ROCK" (you know, kinda like no wave but a lot more musically complex.. but still not avant-progressive... but kinda rock in opposition... haha. Give it a label!) a la -- and related to -- Shorty, U.S. Maple, Miracle Condition -- as well as some Beefheart, Bride of No No, Malade De Souci, and so on..

Here's thee old myspace: http://www.myspace.com/dridermusic .. you will be impressed. Or not. But you will definitely feel something. Or nothing.

Check out their album MOTHER OF CURSES, it's a definite highlight of music. If you're into insanely unconventional music where all the instruments are cheerfully pulling apart from each other, every single one constantly playing in a different time signature with such a refined, constant force and fury... this is your album. There are minimal keyboards, effected saxopones, dark as hell bass, clean out of tune guitars, snare happy drums, and the d. in the name stands for DEATH.
