Somehow Thurston doing Kern does not equate to Thurston doing porn to me. Granted this looks to be a bit more of the dumbed down side of Kern, but I don't think this combination of artists can actually do real porn.

Kern might be able to do porn on his lonesome, if he wanted to. However, the simple act of bringing Thurston Moore in for a soundtrack right away affirms the arty pretentions Richard's always been known for as a director. I don't think he can very easily make an exploitive sex-before-plot movie without coming off like he's critiquing such films and examining the nature of exploitation.

It might be good, in an NC-17 extended "Scooter & Jinx" sort of way. Or it might be throwaway crap that intentionally makes a statement by being throwaway crap. Backdoor Lambada, it's probably not.
