Hi all! Long time no see! I just wanted to let my fellow SY fans here in Chicago know that I'll be fronting my power trio, The Sam Saunders Machine, Friday night at Elbo Room. It's a four band bill and we play third. Other acts appearing include Dan Arrecis, Soundframe and Ava Raiders. We'll be debuting some brand new songs along with some tunes from my solo CD, all featuring our unique brand of high energy power pop and acid rock inspired improvisations. Showtime's 9:00 pm. We'll be playing at 11:15. Elbo Room is located at 2871 N. Lincoln Ave. This is one of the hottest bills of the month! I hope to see some of you there!
