Yeah Kendrick's awesome. We knew that before the Grammys though. I don't know that he necessarily "floats above all," but he is one of the few active rappers whose music actually excites me these days.
And Pusha... and Rocky... and Kanye goes without saying. TLOP doesn't feel empty to me. It feels extraordinary. Joey Bada$$ is dope too. And Chance. God I love Chancd.
But yeah, obviously Future and Thug are more or less empty shells. Sometimes Future's alright, but it's nothing I'll be bumpin five years from now.
