Hi all...I wonder this everytime I hear the album, but I fall asleep before I get to ask it...finally remembered!

For anyone who's heard the original "SONIC DEATH" cassette, is it exactly what is captured on the 2 tracks on the SST/Blast First CD? The CD's track list certainly suggests that, but the varying times (38:32, 29:31) have me wondering if the original tape was that unbalanced, or if changes were made.

I still fucking love this record after all these years. I won't bore you with my story but there's a good chance I've heard this one more than any other SY album. Over the years I've enjoyed attempting to identify the pieces, like a big audio puzzle, and while I've had only moderate success it does make me realize how much uncirculated stuff SY is potentially still sitting on from that time period. I'd kill to hear that whole June '83 Swiss radio show unedited (Confusion is Sex deluxe edition, 2023...).

Anyway, if anyone has that original tape or knows what it contains, please share!
