Gun to my head, perhaps my favorite sitcom.
It's maybe not roll-on-the-floor hilarious, but its comedy comes from the absurd truths of the characters, which hits harder over the long run.
I love how the minor characters get their chance to shine. Beverly, Phil the writer, Paula, etc. aren't just shoved to the side to make room for Larry. In fact, a few episodes have very little Larry in them.
It's technically innovative, a precursor to faux-reality shows. You can spot the boom mic in a few shots.
Some episodes are better than others, but not one of them is even close to disappointing. I could go on and on. . .
