they are notorious for being an uneven live band, because they do NOT FAKE IT, and if they feel like shit or if the audience is acting like fucking dipshits they will not pretend.
they are a fucking amazing band and everything they touch is gold. great songs, great riffs, great music.
My faves are bubble and scrape and smash yr head
and Lou is a nice fucking guy to boot.

also, part of the deal when nirvana signed with geffen was that sub pop would get a small cut of the sales, whih helped subpop develop into a bigger label and expand their catalogue.
