Sounds like my friend's late father.
I knew this guy who had his dad staying with him.

His father was an alcoholic with not long to live. His skin hadn't started to turn green or yellow yet or anything, but he could not eat solid food. All he consumed was a 1.75 ml bottle of cheap bourbon per day. He would stay on the futon for days without even getting up to have to use th bathroom and was usually sleeping. In his sleep or twilight stage before or after sleep (I don't really know), he would often repeat phrases and curses.
It wasn't like he had Tourette's SYndrome. He didn't have the energy for that.

Mostly he would just repeat "no" over and over.
