Actually, yes.

So this 2CD is fucking great. Gira seems to have taken Swans to a much dreamier / chantier / spiritualer / meditativer place over the last couple of years. Glowing Man has long pieces that flow and mutate about this groove. Gira calls them prayers.

A couple of the new pieces on Deliquescence are in the same vein. Add to that the Glowing Man songs here, and really, we have 156min of music "as a mood". Screenshot and The Man Who Refused To Be Unhappy inject some much appreciated adrenalin / funk into the proceedings, but the overall effect is one of....er.....Bliss. (Gira provides some notes on "Bliss" in the album layout.)

This live recording is produced very crisply. Audience is heard only at start/end of tracks.

I love this Motherfucker.
