The Oranges are playing as old farts, so here's a nice news paper article to keep you awake

OneLove tapes are flying over the counter, just after FIFA ban: 'Total explosion!'

"And then Black Friday, Sinterklaas and Christmas still have to come.", sighs the boss of the Utrecht company that produces the OneLove captain's armbands. Since FIFA thwarted the OneLove campaign at the World Cup, the demand for the colored belts has increased massively.

OneLove tapes are flying over the counter, just after FIFA ban: 'Total explosion!'

Roland Heerkens oversees the production of the tires and now has to work hard to meet the enormous demand. His company has been supplying the OneLove tapes for years, but never in such huge numbers as this week.

"They cannot be dragged on, literally and figuratively. There are 500 more per day: a total boom, it is an explosion. Because it is forbidden, it has become a political statement."

European parliament

Heerkens received a special order from Brussels this week. The European Parliament needed some OneLove tapes. In a plenary session, the band then graced the arm of a member of parliament.

The band also featured prominently for the Belgium-Canada match. The Belgian sports minister demonstratively showed a copy to FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
