I love Kim and all that, but this felt like a celebrity biography regardless. As much as I love Sonic Youth I stopped seeing them as a force in underground music ever since Sonic Nurse came out. I loved Kim writing about her art background and dealings, even though the little art of hers I've seen means little to me. I appreciate the energy and enthusiasm, even though the art as such is not my thing. I don't remember exactly when I started thinking Thurston Moore was a lame, attention- seeking indie kid and he doesn't either. We're even so who cares.
