I have never seen the MATS version, and only pictures of the O'ROURKE.

I think it's a better record than anything else this band is currently up to, I guess that is like most things Sonic Youth related. Starting at 99 cents though...can't beat that.

wow, someone is keeping tabs on me from the old board it seems... i dunno i guess perhaps i did pay $150. i can't seem to keep track of how much i paid for everything in my vinyl collection these days, yet alone what i even own.

i sense alot of sarcasm here against you in this thread, either that or people need to get a grip on life... because you can do what you want w/ yr copy of this record and i think some people might just be a little jealous because they don't have it. go figure.

i feel for you as i'm also going thru a financial crunch, since owning a car that i have allowed to let go unmaintained for far too long has seriously caught up w/ me. now i have found that i have put $1200 into it, thats money i planned on saving for other things like furnishing my new apartment... so now i'm selling my backup music gear. an amp, guitar to a friend and i'll probably be putting up 2 old late 60's/early 70's Maestro Phaseshifters on eBay to help soften the blow.

you never know what will happen, just one big realistic fear in the case for those folks who don't have HMO healthcare is if they get very sick, the cost can be quite unbearable. i've known quite a few people who have been put in major debt because of sickness (a friend w/o healthcare found himself over $3000 in debt because he had appendicitis and had to have his appendix removed), thank goodness i have a healthcare plan...
