stayed in over the weekend and watched a few films

zatoichi - hadn't seen it since it was in the cinemas, it was funnier than i remembered 8/10

swing - a japanese pinky film, pretty decent, has a great scene wear a chick goes a bit mental and rapes a couple she thinks look down upon her. 7/10.

black magic rites and secret orgies of the 14th century - italian film form the 70s, totally sucked overall, but was visually quite fun, would probably be a pretty fun film to make a live soundtrack to. 3/10

ong bak 2 - waste of time, the first hour has almost no fights whatsoever and the the last 25 mins tony jaa fights an army of ninjas but it's kind of just a less interesting/weird colour saturatiopn version of that fight scene at the end of warrior king/protector where he breaks 100 dudes arms and legs in 5 minutes. 2/10

soylent green - pretty decent, didn't live up to my high expectations, but gripping and enjoyable none the less. 8/10
