and they did their hair themselves, did everything themselves, back in 76 when they started, they would travel with silkscreens of th crimson ghost and put it on any fans jacket/bag/whatever. they were fucking awesome.
they combined horror, 50's sci fi kitsch, Murder, and elvis presley baritone lyrics into a package that is the great sum of all it's parts.
what makes you think Misfits are hair metal?
