not all projectionists are inattentive.. They are definately a different breed and usually fairly smart. There is usually one(sometimes two but rarely) person up there running hte 20+ cinemas at once. Despite the masses of 3D films already coming out, digital projectors are still usually hinky, play up often, and very expensive. From what I've seen even bigger budget cinemas cut a lot more corners than you'd expect with 20k dollar a week cinema reels/ and 2037yr79 TB digital film footage. Gawd I wish I'd taken the porojectionist training. Fun times. Hilarious working conditions, being made to fix shit on $0 budget, nerd fun etc. I'm pretty sure cute projectionist girl is the reason I stayed so long at the cinema anwyay.
