the guardian is too right wing for me. keeping it simple is like something out of ridiculously exaggerated opposite of me world, using the argument that the mail sells more as a sign of its superiority whereas if anything i would cite that as an indication of the opposite. i don't really think you can read that paper and say 'there, that was sane, impartial and informative journalism. i don't think you can read it and say 'this was worth the trees cut down and time spent on it, i may not agree with it but i at least respect it' i don't think you can read it and say 'burning, using for animal toilet paper or otherwise destroying this newspaper is morally incorrect'.
