when you are an actor, especially one who gets cast based solely on looks, (for she is NOT a good actor, just eye cand in bad movies) their job IS to be that persona in public.
maintaining that persona in public guarantees that people will keep her in mind for other roles. hollywood is as fake as it can get and the business of making that fakery seem real and glamorous is their JOB
