at the Sonic Nurse release gig in @ the Troubadour in LA in 2004, I had a religious experience smoking a spliff on the dance floor midway through the setlist. It was zen perfection of positive energy, like straight magic and holy spirit, and I gave thanks to the Almighty in earnest prayer, for the blessings of such an experience, at a sonic show none the less! after that, I don't miss sonic gigs..
